Life is busy. In our culture it is the norm to be so busy, rushing, pushing, racing and speeding to get to the next appointment. Make time for those you love and don't forget to take time to stop an enjoy the moment you are living even if it is when your baby keeps you up at night. Those times will be gone before you realize it.

No Time to Stop
It is amazing, the other day my 7 year old son Daniel asked me why did time go by faster now that he is in 2nd grade? My response to him was that it seems to go by faster because he is getting older and he busy doing lots of school work. He looked at me with those big brown eyes and said," I don't want it to go faster mom because then you will be old." How observant he was to notice such an important fact at such a young age. In his own little way he realized that he wanted to enjoy each moment and not allow time to fly by without truly experiencing and enjoying life. It used to amaze me when I first had CJ every one would say enjoy every moment because before you know it he will be grown. Ok, I will be honest when people said that I truly did not understand. Partly, because when he was a baby and was waking up at all hours of the night. One night seemed like an eternity and the thought of getting one full nights worth of sleep seemed like it would never happen. Now, I look at him a 16 year old in high school; with only a handful of years left to raise him. I am amazed to think and ask where on earth did the time go? No time to stop. It is ironic the only reason I had time to start this blog is because at this moment I am recovering from surgery. Forced to take time out to stop, to rest and reflect.
